At Sandy Creek Christian Academy, our elementary program is designed to build strong academic foundations while nurturing Christlike character. In grades K–5, we focus on developing confident readers, capable problem-solvers, and lifelong learners in a supportive, faith-centered environment.

For Reading and Math, we utilize i-Ready, a research-based curriculum that provides individualized instruction for every student. Through diagnostic assessments and personalized learning paths, i-Ready allows us to meet students exactly where they are and help them grow at the right pace. Students receive targeted lessons that strengthen foundational skills, reinforce grade-level standards, and provide enrichment opportunities when they are ready for more. Our teachers use i-Ready data to guide instruction, ensuring that classroom teaching is both intentional and responsive through whole-class teaching, small-group support, and hands-on learning experiences.

History and Science are also core components of each child’s academic experience. These subjects are taught from a Christian worldview, helping students see God’s hand in creation and His sovereignty throughout history. At the same time, our curriculum is aligned with Indiana state standards, ensuring that students receive a rigorous and well-rounded education that prepares them for continued academic success.
